About Edgar F. Carpenter:

I started "playing" with computers in the 70's with a Radio Shack hand held computer.  I learned the Basic Language on my own and in the 70's purchased a Texas Instruments TI-99-4A.  I learned more about basic programming and was "hooked" on it.  Soon after the IBM PC was introduced, I switched, to a high speed 286 with 2M of RAM, WOW.

I learned some Assembly Language in DOS and began writing some serious MS DOS Basic programs to assist me in the Tugboat Business; invoicing, payroll, spreadsheets, database, etc.

(No "Windows" in those days)

I later purchased MS QuickBasic and wrote many DOS executable programs for commercial use, including a tithe program for my church, First Baptist Church of Westlake.  That program was utilized for many years until MS Windows came on strong.

I later purchased MS Visual Basic 4, MS Visual Basic 5 and then MS Visual Basic 6 Professional with MS Office 2002 and MS Access to utilize Database Programming.  I used MS PowerPoint weekly at church for Music and Sermon Outlines during church services.

At present I have Clarion Enterprise V5.5 for Windows, by Soft Velocity.  I am able to write general purpose database programs for most applications.

I am now using MS FrontPage2003 for Web Page Design, which I am using to design this Web Page.  I believe the Web is the most significant tool of this century and will certainly become common in most households and office equipment.

The advertising skills will be phenomenal for local, national and international promotion.  My goal is to assist any non-immoral business to advertise on the World Wide Web.

I especially want to assist the small business owner to advertise his/her products/services on the web for a very economical fee.  My intent is to maintain a reasonable monthly fee with no setup charge.  The only up-front fee will be to secure their own Domain Name  (www.company.com)  if they have none.  It is estimated that these are "going" at a rate of about 200,000 per month, and only one per internet is allowed.

Footnote: My integrity, honesty and confidentiality is of the highest priority in this endeavor, as it has been all of my life.
