One Quick Calendar
Did you ever sit at your computer and try to think about an upcoming date? Did you get up and walk around the house to look for a calendar? Well, if you have Windows 95 or 98 then here is a quick fix.
If you have your time displayed at the lower right bottom on your task bar (or where ever it is) double-click on it. You should be presented with the "Date/Time Properties" window. On the left side of the window is a calendar displaying the current month, with the current day highlighted on it.
Above the calendar is a drop down box to select a different month. To the right of it, is another box for the year, with an up button to look into the future and a down button to look into the past.
You can select a future or past month for observation only, and as long as you then select "Cancel" instead of "Apply", the date and time of your computer will not be adjusted.
This is of course how you would change the setting of your computer's time frame, by selecting "Apply" after making a change. The right side of the window is for changing the time of day.
If you just don't know what day it is, place the cursor over the time clock on the task bar and after about a second or two you will see a small box with the day of the week and the date, providing of course that it is set correctly. It only displays for about 7 seconds.
Now you can see what day your next birthday falls on, try it, you'll like it. Ed
